Who we are
Abado Pyramids & Sphinx Tours started as a single guide's habit of walking friends-of-friends through Giza properly. It's grown into a small, dedicated team covering Cairo, Alexandria and Fayoum — but the habit never changed: no rushing, no scripted stops, just Egypt explained well.
Founded and operated in Giza by people who grew up in the shadow of the pyramids — not a booking platform reselling someone else's tour.
We keep tours private or small-group by default, so your guide is actually answering your questions, not managing a bus of forty.
No accounts, no long checkout forms. You message us on WhatsApp, we confirm the details, you show up.
Where we go
Every tour is private and built around your dates — pick one destination or combine them into a full week.

Can't find what you're looking for? Message us directly on WhatsApp — a real person answers, not a bot.
Message us directly on WhatsApp with your preferred date, number of travelers, and which tour you're interested in. We'll confirm availability and pricing within the same conversation — no forms, no waiting for an email reply.
Most travelers pay in cash (USD, EUR or EGP) directly to the guide on the day of the tour. If you'd prefer to secure your date in advance, ask us about a deposit option over WhatsApp.
Yes. Every tour is led by a guide licensed by Egypt's Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, with dedicated Egyptology training — not a driver doubling as a guide.
Yes, hotel pickup and drop-off in Cairo, Giza, and most nearby areas is included in every tour price. Let us know your hotel name when you message us and we'll confirm the pickup time.
Comfortable closed shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and water are essential — the plateau has very little shade. From roughly November to February bring a light jacket for the morning; the rest of the year, sun protection matters more than warmth.
Cairo, Giza, Alexandria and Fayoum are all well-established tourist routes with a visible tourism police presence at major sites. As with any destination, we recommend checking your government's latest travel advisory before you go, and we're happy to answer specific safety questions over WhatsApp.
